A figure that stands alone does not have to be a full quote. When looking at the shipping price to the Philippines, you need to know what the price applies to, in what units, where it ends and what data it is based on.
1. Read the unit before comparing money
Prices per kg, per CBM and per package cannot be directly compared as the same unit. If the chart uses kg, ask if it is actual weight or chargeable weight. If using CBM, ask about minimums and rounding when applicable. If by package, check the limit or size of the package that comes with the price.
Also pay attention to currency. Do not automatically convert a foreign currency into the final payment amount using an unagreed exchange rate. Ask the collection unit and conversion basis, if any.
2. Attach a quote to a package data set
Keep a record of the item list, package count, weight, dimensions, origin and delivery address you provided. If any details change, ask for the quote to be checked again. A quote based on a small, unfinished box may no longer apply after the package has been reinforced.
Xem instructions for weighing and measuring to avoid missing data in the first place. A clear list is often more useful than many separate, unnumbered photos.
3. Check service start and end points
Ask whether the rate includes pickup in Vietnam or starts at the warehouse, and whether it covers delivery to the Philippines warehouse or the recipient's address. Ask for any additional services to be clearly marked as included or charged separately.
4. Comparison using the same questionnaire
| Information | Option A | Option B |
|---|---|---|
| Shipment data | Same list | Same list |
| Unit of calculation | Specify | Specify |
| End intersection point | Write address/warehouse | Write address/warehouse |
| Item not included | Listing | Listing |
| Timeline | State the calculation method | State the calculation method |

5. Save conditions and validity
Ask when the quote is still valid, whether it is necessary to check again when the delivery schedule changes and what conditions cause the price to change. Keep a final copy instead of taking a separate photo of the cheapest line and leaving out the notes.
Read more taxes and fees, delivery range or compares Air and Sea. The right price is the price that is compared to the exact needs of the shipment.
